Together for a Better Tomorrow
At Together for a Better Tomorrow, our commitment is to build a future where every community thrives through quality, equitable public health initiatives and transformative research. Founded on June 1, 2022, by Dr. Garett Sansom and Mr. Luis Gómez, we are rooted in a community-driven approach, guided by culturally and linguistically tailored strategies that truly resonate with the communities we serve. We proudly engage, utilize, and empower Promotores/Community Health Workers to strengthen local voices and drive meaningful, lasting change.
Our work is not measured by quantity but by the quality and depth of our impact. We engage in interdisciplinary scholarship and forge robust community partnerships to address public health challenges, ensuring our efforts are both impactful and sustainable. Currently, we serve Texas communities in San Antonio, College Station, Houston, and across South Texas—including Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, and Willacy Counties—and we are continually seeking to expand our community-based participatory research efforts.
At Together for a Better Tomorrow, we genuinely care about the people we serve. By focusing on education, empowerment, and collaboration, we are building resilient communities and paving the way for a healthier, more equitable tomorrow.
